First Annual BIG search for LITTLE treasures Geocaching event at the Rotary Park, August 21st, 2010 from 10am until 4pm (Adanac ski hill, off Beatrice Cres) .This event is for BOTH new and experienced cachers.
Here''s how it works: Using your GPS unit, collect 10 hidden playing cards sealed in envelopes on selected trails. Top card hands will win prizes. However be prepared for unexpected surprises and adventures. There will be a track able trading area.
Lunch is provided. Cost for individuals is $20. Teams of four can enter for $60.00.

30th Annual Terry Fox Run

When Terry Fox recognized that he would not be able to complete his Marathon of Hope for cancer research in 1980, he bequeathed his mission to his fellow Canadians and The Terry Fox Run began.
In keeping with the approach of its founder, the Run is a volunteer-led event, all-inclusive, non-competitive, with no pre-registration, entry fees or fundraising minimums.
