This month''s lunch will feature two men from the Lively area, Pastor Mike Gordon of Cornerstone Community Church and Paul Rintala of the Sudbury Regional Police. |
From Friday February 10th until Monday February 13th, Grace Family Church in Sudbury will be holding, "Entering the Glory Realm" with Darrel Stott, in partnership with City Servants Team. Offerings will be accepted at all the meetings, and everyone is invited to attend. All the meetings will begin at 7pm, but Saturday February 11th will have a second meeting at 1pm. |
Valleyview Community Church will be holding a Marriage Enrichment Weekend event on February 10th and 11th. Tickets are available at Valleyview and the Lighthouse Bookstore and are going for $20 each, or $30 for a couple. |
Sudbury Christian Academy will be hosting a big Valentine Fundraising Dinner at the school on Saturday February 11th. The meal will be catered by the Caruso Club and tickets are $50 for adults and $15 for children. There will only be 24 tables which means seat are limited. |
On Tuesday February 14th, Grace Family Church will be hosting a Valentine Dinner and Cake Auction starting at 6:00 pm. All the proceeds from this event will be going to support a trip to a youth conference in Toronto for April, and a mission trip to the Congo with missionary Mark Davis next year. Tickets for the evening are $15, but won''t be sold at the door as tickets are limited. |
On Tuesday February 14th, the Fibromyalgia Support group will be meeting at the Park Side Centre inside Kinsmen Room B. The event will get underway at 12:30 and go till 2:30pm. This month''s meeting will be a self-esteem workshop. |
On Thursday February 16th, the New Sudbury Heritage Committee will be holding there next meeting at the New Sudbury Library on Lasalle Blvd. The meeting gets underway at 10:00am and will end at about 12:00pm. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event! |
On Saturday February 18th, the Callender Legion will be holding its 19th Annual Ice Fishing Derby. The Derby will feature draw prizes for adults as well as children''s trophies and prizes. The cost is $10 for adults, children uner 12 years of age are $5 and a family of four is $25. Registration will include a spaghetti supper at the Branch, and participants must return to the branch by 6pm, with prizes being awarded at 7pm. Provincial Fishing Regulations apply for this event. |
First Baptist Church on Cassells Street in North Bay will be hosting the 2012 Great Canadian Bible Study on Saturday February 25th. All women in North Bay and the surrounding area is invited to attend. Breakfast will begin at 9:00am and will be followed by guest speaker Lorna Powell and a dramatization presentation by Linda Ellsworth. |
