Without a doubt… the most exciting day we have is Sharathon Day. In fact, we like it so much that we have two of them each year. Beyond all the fun, the music, the preaching, and the whole family getting together – Sharathon Day is the Day when we ask our listeners to help us keep this great ministry going.
It’s no secret that many ministries go on the air every day and ask for money. This has been a thorn in the side of believers and non-believers alike. When people tune into CJTK, we want them to hear the clear message of the love of God… not appeal after appeal for money. So years ago we came up with a policy. We would NEVER ask for money except 2 days a year. This is un-heard of in any other ministry!
So our Sharathon has turned into a huge day of celebration. Our team fasts and prays for this day, and God’s people always come through and help us stay on the air – and keep growing across Northern Ontario.
